Day 11- Plane Ride back to Beijing

Luckily we got to wake up a little later and be ready by 945a. The plane ride from Xiamen to Beijing was four hours long. Because we had such a large group we had our own check in lines which was nice. My luggage was stopped and checked. I packed a Lysol spray can and they said it was okay. We rode on China Air. Surprisingly their seats were rather comfortable; much better than United. We were served lunch which was gross. I was so hungry when by the time we landed. Once we landed we picked up our belongings and got on a bus to the hotel. That evening we went to a lecture meeting where four of the professors on our trip presented. It was nice to learn about their research and academic programs. We got there late and the lecture ended at 930p. We didn’t have a chance to talk to the students because they were so tired and had school the next day. I was really tired too. The long days have slowly been catching up on me.
