Finally... After two long weeks I was going home. I really missed Hawaii. I learned so much about living within an unfamiliar culture and language in such a short amount of time. This was a great experience of a different continent and culture. We were the first group to be dropped off at the airport. Our flight to Japan was four hours long. They served us a snack which was really good. Upon arriving in Japan we had a six hour layover. My Professor and I were able to leave the airport so I got my passport stamped with a different country! Yay! We ate at the airport again at a different restaurant. I had to get sashimi which was really good! I also got a teishoku tempura meal which was also delicious! After cruising around the airport shops we made our way back to our gate. The flight to Oahu was seven hours. It was terrible. I had two babies and a toddler near me. I got practically no sleep. Arriving in Hawaii customs was very quick and I immediately got my baggage. It was so nice to see blue skies again. I had a great time but was very happy to be home.
